Mascot Highlights
Common Questions
Where Story Meets Spirit
Characters First
We build stories around unforgettable personalities — bold, flawed, and full of heart.
01
Imagination Unleashed
From cosmic rockets to dusty mining towns with hidden secrets, no idea is too wild. If it’s weird, it’s welcome.
02
Art With Edge
We blend classic comic traditions with fresh visual storytelling that pops off the page and is a wonder to hold.
03
Fans Are Family
We've fostered life-long friendships through our love of comic books and look forward to our character's and stories being invited into your families.
04
Honest Storytelling
No fluff, no filler — just meaningful arcs, emotional beats, and plenty of carnival chaos along the way.
05
Indie, Always
We keep it weird, keep it real, and keep it independent — because that’s where the best stories live.

Meet The Creators

Matthew Solberg, Writer
For over twenty years Matthew Solberg has been CEO of Fan Fusion, an annual pop culture convention in Phoenix, which he founded in 2002. Fan Fusion is recognized as the largest pop culture convention in the southwest and one of the largest conventions on the national scene.
A lifelong comic book fan, Solberg seeks to create and write stories that provide the same sense of excitement and joy he felt when he was twelve years old and received his first comic book subscription in the mail.
Solberg is the Founder, CEO, and Publisher of Mascot Comics and the writer of "The Adventures of Sunset and Meteor".
Along with Travis Hanson, and Anthony Jude Hernandez (for Sunset and Meteor), and Valentino Moreira (for La Integridad), he has created all characters for Mascot Comics.
He resides in the Valley of the Sun, Phoenix, since 2001.
